Benefits & Compensation Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Benefits & Compensation Specialist to join our team in South Houston. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional to make a significant impact across both benefits administration and compensation strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage all benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k)
- Oversee the full cycle of benefits-related activities, including employee lifecycle changes, audits, invoice reconciliation, and compliance reporting
- Support the design, benchmarking, and administration of broad-based compensation programs
- Provide compensation analysis and modeling support to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
- Partner with brokers and vendors to ensure a high-quality employee experience
- Support program development, implementations, and process improvements across benefits and compensation functions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in both benefits and compensation
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong knowledge of 401(k) plans, medical/ancillary benefits, and compensation principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems (UKG, ADP, Kronos, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders
