Certified Payroll Manager
We’re partnering with a leading organization in search of a Certified Payroll Manager to oversee multi-state payroll operations and lead a small, high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring deep Paycom expertise, a strong command of Certified Payroll, and a passion for driving process improvements across the payroll function.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing, compliance, and reporting for multiple states
- Lead and develop a payroll team of two (Payroll Administrator and Certified Payroll Specialist)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Certified Payroll requirements
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Manage Paycom configurations, reporting, and system troubleshooting
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen internal controls and elevate payroll operations
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of recent, hands-on Paycom experience (system management, configuration, and reporting)
- Proven leadership and process improvement experience
- Strong multi-state payroll background
- Certified Payroll (Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage, LCP Tracker) experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required
