Compensation and Benefits Manager

Our West Houston client is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead and administer benefits and compensation functions. This individual must have at least 10+years of experience applying advanced theories, principles, and concepts to develop solutions to complex projects, including base pay architecture, incentive plan design and administration, and differentiated reward programs. Other responsibilities include:

  • 8+ years of experience with benefits design, trend, utilization, cost and budgeting, implementation, and administration
  • 8+ years of experience in working with wide latitude of direction and support, including advising organizational leaders, building relationships, and serving as a results-oriented change agent
  • 3+ years of experience with diligence, developing, and executing Benefits and Compensation strategies for merger and acquisition related activities
  • Experience with compensation surveys, analyses, budgets, plans, and implementation
  • Experience with Human Resource (HR) technologies, including Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) systems, HR law, benefits and compensation management, salary planning, workforce analytics, data analysis tools, and data gathering analysis
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
  • Ability to successfully manage and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the O&G industry preferred
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Knowledge of health care reform, reporting requirements, ERISA, HIPAA, and FMLA-related compliance requirements
  • Master’s degree preferred
