HR Analyst
Our client in The Woodlands is seeking a talented and motivated HR Analyst to join their dynamic HR Operations team. As an HR Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential reporting, analysis, and metrics to support business and departmental decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze HR data and metrics from our HR information system
- Assist in the implementation of new HR programs
- Generate insightful reports on employee information and provide analysis to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain and update employment records accurately
- Deliver standard reporting on various HR operations, including headcount, employee status, EEO, shared services, employee engagement, and performance
- Prepare presentations for leadership, showcasing results and data-driven insights
- Present supporting metrics and data analysis to facilitate decision-making for overall HR strategy
- Provide technical support for programs administered by the people operations team
- Collaborate with the employee experience team to develop training and development programs for management, employees, and consultants
- Assist in prioritizing and scoping work for the HR operations team
- Monitor HR project timelines and assist in re-prioritization, if required
- Provide back-end support for technical implementations of HR programs and platforms
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Previous experience in HR program implementation
- Strong understanding of HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and reporting, including knowledge of Paylocity reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying trends and solution areas
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels
- Demonstrate discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive in communication and follow-up, with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
- Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- HR Certification (aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP) preferred
