HR Business Partner

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
  • Coach management in resolution of employee relation issues, and provide management with accurate, timely and effective documentation
  • Mitigate risk to the organization by assisting with employee relations including disciplinary action, complaints, and conflict resolution
  • Investigate employee relations issues; make recommendations that effectively resolve complaints; gather information and documentation to support appropriate solutions
  • May manage Leaves of Absence and FMLA administration
  • Prepare employee separation documentation and conduct exit interviews
  • May facilitate and/or provide training to the workforce
  • Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records; creates and generates routine and ad hoc reports; and audits data as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • May maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs
  • Ensure effective communication and administration of company policies, procedures, programs, changes and related issues
  • Immigration administration
  • Communicate benefit information to employees
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 5 to 8+ years of HR experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • Critical thinking and the ability to manage competing priorities in order to meet the needs of client groups
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
  • Travel may be required-20%
