Job Responsibilities:
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
- Coach management in resolution of employee relation issues, and provide management with accurate, timely and effective documentation
- Mitigate risk to the organization by assisting with employee relations including disciplinary action, complaints, and conflict resolution
- Investigate employee relations issues; make recommendations that effectively resolve complaints; gather information and documentation to support appropriate solutions
- May manage Leaves of Absence and FMLA administration
- Prepare employee separation documentation and conduct exit interviews
- May facilitate and/or provide training to the workforce
- Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records; creates and generates routine and ad hoc reports; and audits data as necessary to ensure accuracy
- May maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs
- Ensure effective communication and administration of company policies, procedures, programs, changes and related issues
- Immigration administration
- Communicate benefit information to employees
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 5 to 8+ years of HR experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
- Critical thinking and the ability to manage competing priorities in order to meet the needs of client groups
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
- Travel may be required-20%
