HR Manager – Sandpoint, ID

Global Manufacturing client in Sandpoint, ID seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team! This individual will be responsible for the management of all site-specific HR program and policies, including employee relations, talent management, and retention.

 

Main accountabilities:

  • Handles employee discipline and termination for employee relation issues across the company in accordance with the applicable laws and company policies.
  • Support employees with all employment-related issues/concerns on a daily basis
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, Talent Management, and Employment law.
  • Responsible to maintain up-to-date company policies and procedures as related to site, i.e., pay practices, benefits, etc.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Administer Performance Management process as needed and assess training needs
  • Maintain employee files and records
  • Responsible for all government and federal reporting as required
  • Support corporate surveys in engagement, services, etc.
  • Support and manage strategic HR projects and initiatives
  • Additional duties as required

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR Management experience and 8+ years overall HR experience
  • Must have manufacturing experience OR experience across environments with a mixed workforce (i.e., field operations and corporate)
  • Experience leading teams in retention, talent management, and employee relations.
  • Workday and UKG experience a plus
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Must understand & advise on employment laws and HR best practices
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products
  • Strong Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred
