HRIS Team Lead – Florida

Global client seeking an experienced and motivated HRIS Team Lead to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As the HRIS Team Lead, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing their HR Information Systems (HRIS). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS, with a strong command of Workday and UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group). This role offers flexibility on an as-needed basis, allowing for a balanced work-life arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

HRIS Management: Lead the HRIS team and oversee the day-to-day operation of HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency, and functionality.

Manage system configurations, updates, and troubleshooting in Workday and UKG.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the HRIS team members.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

System Optimization: Collaborate with HR and IT teams to continuously improve and enhance the functionality and capabilities of the HRIS.

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Data Integrity and Reporting: Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems by implementing data validation processes.

Generate and analyze reports to support HR and business decision-making.

Compliance and Security: Stay up-to-date with HRIS compliance requirements and data security best practices.

Implement and maintain data privacy and security protocols.

User Support: Provide support to HR and other end-users regarding HRIS-related inquiries and issues.

Collaborate with the IT helpdesk to resolve technical problems.

Vendor Relations: Liaise with HRIS vendors and manage relationships to ensure optimal system performance and service.

Documentation and Training: Create and maintain HRIS documentation, including user guides and training materials.

Train HR and other stakeholders on system usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HRIS experience, with expertise in Workday and UKG.
  • Previous leadership or team management experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS best practices, data management, and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in data privacy and security practices.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to address HRIS-related issues on an as-needed basis.
  • HR or IT certifications related to HRIS are a bonus.
