Recruiter –
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Research, source (using referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs
- Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs
- Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to hiring community
- Will be responsible for staffing related metrics which are reviewed per business line
- May coach less experienced team members
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years current experience successfully recruiting for engineering disciplines
- Minimum 2 years experience working with applicant tracking systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for engineering and project management roles
- Experience with ATS preferred
- Ability to work in a high stress fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently within a team centric environment with minimal guidance
- Proven ability to develop long term business relationships with candidates and managers
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong prioritization skills
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Able to apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations
- Ability to use creative and analytical thinking for problem solving
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve service to hiring community
- Proactively searches for additional training for self development to remain current in respective field
