Retirement Plan Analyst
Our client is seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of expertise in 401(k) plan administration, including plan testing, auditing, and overall plan management. Experience with SIMPLE IRA plans administration is also a plus. While exposure to broad-based compensation and executive deferred compensation plan administration is preferred, it’s not mandatory, and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage retirement plans, including 401(k) and SIMPLE IRA plans.
- Conduct plan testing, auditing, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform moderate to complex data analysis related to retirement plans.
- Reconcile plan data, contributions, and participant records.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve plan issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of plan design changes.
- Provide support for plan participants, answering inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Stay updated on retirement plan regulations and industry trends.
- Train and educate team members on retirement plan administration best practices.
- Administer broad-based compensation and executive deferred compensation plans.
- Assists with the compensation salary administration process including job evaluations, compensation recommendations, conducting market data analysis, and compensation related projects.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in 401(k) plan administration, including plan testing, auditing, and overall management.
- Experience with SIMPLE IRA plan administration is a plus.
- Strong/advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in plan reconciliations.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
