Key Responsibilities: Recruiting
- Prepares job postings for open positions and posts external recruitment ads for open positions
- Sources resumes on job boards, professional and social networking sites
- Develops marketing material for recruiting candidates
- Organizes hiring events
- Participates in hiring events
- Reviews, sorts, and screens applications and resumes
- Conducts candidate screening interviews and reference checks to provide managers with the best qualified candidates
- Communicates employment offers to selected candidates
- Fields inquiries from candidates regarding resume status, directions, interview conflicts and changes
- Trains market recruiters on recruiting and hiring practices
- Coaches and trains managers on the interview process
- Assists in the developing of staffing and recruiting strategies
- Develops network of strategic business relations with colleges, chamber of commerce, and various other potential partners
- Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by Supervisor and/or Senior Management
SKILLS required for the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 recruiting and talent management experience
- Proven track record to recruit candidates at all levels
- Experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems
- Experience with Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter is highly desired
- Ability to manage ongoing workload demands of both planned and unplanned projects and requests
- Ability to identify and solve problems through creativity and sound recruiting principles
- Confident written and verbal communication style
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project / Process Management – ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining quality
- Interpersonal/Influencing/Negotiating skills
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize appropriately
- Independent, self-managed, and self-starter personality
