Sourcing and Recruitment Coordinator.

Our Houston-based client is seeking a Sourcing and Recruitment Coordinator. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying and engaging potential candidates through various channels, maintaining a robust pipeline of top-tier talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust database of active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Implement advanced sourcing techniques to find and connect with passive candidates.
  • Use creative sourcing methods to attract and engage qualified candidates through platforms like ATS, LinkedIn, job boards, and social media.
  • Manage offer letter generation and pre-employment checks, including creating and sending offer letters, conducting background checks, and verifying professional references, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure thorough and accurate background screening processes.
  • Oversee the pre-onboarding process, notifying relevant departments and hiring managers of any delays, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate candidate and hiring team schedules to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Use text messaging platforms to maintain close communication with candidates, providing timely updates and setting expectations for next steps.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by handling all interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition activities as needed.
  • Post job advertisements on various internal and external websites and create graphic content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in creating recruitment marketing content to attract and engage candidates.
  • Coordinate the completion of candidate assessments, maintaining close communication with applicants to ensure timely completion.
  • Use the internal ATS system to communicate with hiring team members and provide updates on the recruitment process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience of 5+ years in a Talent Acquisition/Recruiting role.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition and sourcing techniques.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job posting websites.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates and hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback as needed.
