Temporary Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Our Maritime client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Temporary Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join their team for a 4.5-month contract assignment. If you have 4-5+ years of end-to-end payroll processing and benefit administration experience, with a strong background in ADP Workforce Now, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for our small (< 100 employees) organization, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on ADP Workforce Now, utilizing the platform to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll and benefits-related issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security for all payroll and benefits information.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis as needed.
  • Assist with year-end reporting and compliance activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of experience in multistate end-to-end payroll processing and benefit administration.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is a must.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience with a diverse range of benefit plans is a plus.

 

Location: Heights / Onsite (1-day WFH dependent on workload)
