The Training Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and tracking of training sessions as well as performing various administrative tasks associated with the training function. In this role you will be communicating with participants, trainers, and managers to ensure that training sessions run smoothly. This role requires strong attention to detail with an ability to multitask and work under pressure. You should also be a reliable problem-solver with basic analytics skills.

Key job functions:

  • Manage courses and enrollment in Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Coordination and scheduling of instructor-led and online courses
  • Inform employees of scheduled training and track their progress
  • Scheduling and promotion of customer webinars
  • Book training space as needed and ensure proper setup of classroom
  • Distribution of training materials for various courses
  • Maintain internal and external training records
  • Update team training calendar
  • Respond to internal and external training inquiries
  • Submit reports on training activities and results
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise before, during and after training
  • Identify Gaps
  • Assist with succession planning

Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:

  • 1-3 years of experience working as a Training/Administrative Assistant or similar role
  • Technical experience with tools used for training administration; working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Google calendar is a plus
  • Enjoys helping others and excited to contribute to the professional growth of employees and customers
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams to obtain in-depth understanding of training requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, draw meaningful conclusion, present findings, and propose improvements
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
