VP of HR
Vice President Human Resources
Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-site team of HR professionals located throughout HQ, satellite offices, and branches, staffed by more than 900 employees
- Refine and develop HR policies as needed and drive HR initiatives
- Support the management and implementation of total rewards programs, including both fully insured and self-insured employee benefits programs
- Manage the development and administration of the company’s staffing budgets and related business plans
- Support recruiting initiatives for both managerial and production employees, as well as lead development of formalized approaches for on-boarding and separation
- Responsible for vendor selection and vendor management of any outsourced providers, third party brokers, or external HR consultants
- Support organizational design planning
- Manage regulatory compliance with state and federal labor laws.
- Partner and collaborate with business leaders, including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Legal to achieve overall organizational objectives and strategic alignment
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP/CP preferred)
- 8+ years of HR management experience, 15+ years HR experience
- Experience as a senior HR professional, supporting a small or mid-size business unit or mid-market entity, including experience serving as an advisor to the executive team
- Experience managing a team of HR professionals
- Experience working with Private Equity-held organizations preferred
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Breadth of experience across all facets of HR including compensation & benefits, staffing & recruiting, managing HRIS
- Regulatory compliance experience including thorough knowledge of EEOC, OFCCP, DOL (State and Federal), NLRB and ERISA guidelines and requirements
- Experience managing variable compensation and employee incentive plans, as well as administration of employer retirement plans
- Experience with cultural integration / alignment and managing in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience managing complex employee relations issues, as well as negotiating with vendors, contractors and TPAs
- Executive presence with excellent communications and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and multiple deadlines; execution focused
Banking, Financial Services industry experience preferred
